The Micropower Council have joined up with a number of European partners to take part in this IEE, PV LEGAL Project. The 32 month project kicked off in July 2009 with the overall goal of overcoming market barriers for PV on the level of regulatory frameworks.
This project is set up under the auspices of Intelligent Energy Europe and seeks to provide a complete database of the legal and administrative procedures that must be completed in each of the 12 EU countries included in the study for solar PV installations at small, medium and large scale. Advisory papers and workshops will then be used to convert 'real life' experiences of issues into constructive recommendations as to how these barriers might be overcome. These conclusions and learning points will then be disseminated.
As this is an EC funded project, it is free to participate and the MPC would like to encourage all PV industry stakeholders to input into the research. To read more about the project, please click here, or register for participation by submitting the form below.
The MPC will also be engaging with its members on this project, to read more about Micropower Council membership please click here, or to become a member click here.
